Ramadan 2027 Online Quran Classes For Kids And Adults

Ramadan 1448 AH is expected to begin around 8 February 2027, depending on the moon sighting in your country. For many families it is the month when children finally connect with the Quran and adults return to their mushaf. But the energy of the first days often fades after a week without a plan and a teacher to follow up.

That is why we suggest starting now: live one-to-one online lessons one or two months before Ramadan, then more lessons during the month itself.

Why start before Ramadan?

If you start on the first day of Ramadan, the first week goes into meeting the teacher, setting a schedule and fixing basic pronunciation. If you start in December or January, you enter Ramadan with your letters corrected and a routine in place, and the whole month goes into recitation and memorization.

Three goals to choose from

1. Recite the Quran with Tajweed

For readers who already read Arabic script and want to read correctly. You recite part of your daily portion to the teacher, who corrects the rules and letter articulation. If you are new to the terms, our Tajweed glossary explains 30 of them in plain English.

2. Memorize Juz Amma (or part of it) with your child

A realistic goal for a child aged 6 to 12: memorize several short surahs and recite them well. Print our free Juz Amma tracker and let your child tick off each surah.

3. Revise what you memorized

For anyone who memorized surahs or juz’ and has started to forget. Daily recitation to a teacher in Ramadan is the best way to fix them again, especially if you recite them in Taraweeh or night prayer.

Times that fit your fasting day

Our teachers are available 24 hours a day, so you pick the time that suits your Ramadan routine, in your own time zone:

  • After Fajr: a quiet house and a clear mind; good for adults.
  • After school: for children, before the house gets busy with iftar.
  • After Taraweeh: for those who work during the day.

Each lesson is 30 minutes, a comfortable length when fasting, especially for children.

How it works

  1. Two free trial lessons: the teacher assesses the level and suggests a realistic goal.
  2. A written plan: what to do each day, and how many verses or pages.
  3. Live 1:1 lessons: the same teacher at the same time; female teachers available for women and girls.
  4. More lessons in Ramadan: increase your weekly lessons during the month, then return to your usual schedule.

Lessons are explained in English or French for students who don’t speak Arabic.

Fees are $40 per month when taught in English or French (from $25 if taught in Arabic). Pay by PayPal, Visa, Mastercard or bank transfer. To add extra Ramadan lessons, message us on WhatsApp and we will set the schedule and fees with you.

Tips for a Quran-centred Ramadan at home

  • Fix a daily Quran time at home, even ten minutes after iftar when everyone reads together.
  • Reward consistency, not only quantity.
  • Keep the goal modest. One surah recited well beats a rushed juz’.
  • After Eid, don’t stop completely. Two lessons a week keep what Ramadan built.
