Online Quran Classes for Kids — Live 1:1 Lessons
Finding a patient, qualified Quran teacher for your child is hard when you live far from an Arabic-speaking community. Quran Web Academy has offered live online Quran classes for kids since 2020: one teacher, one child, on a schedule that fits your family’s time zone.
Our teachers explain everything in English (or French), so you do not need to speak Arabic to start.
What your child learns
- Reading from zero: Arabic letters, vowel marks and joining letters with the Noorani Qaida or Noor Al-Bayan method.
- Tajweed: correct pronunciation (Makharij) and the rules of recitation, applied verse by verse.
- Memorization (Hifz): starting with short surahs, with a revision plan so nothing is forgotten.
- Good habits: respect for the Quran and short duas, taught in a friendly way.
How the lessons work
Every class is private and live. The teacher hears every word your child reads and corrects it immediately, which is something group classes and apps cannot do. Lessons can be in the morning, evening or at the weekend, and parents are welcome to sit in, especially in the first lessons.
Price
Quran classes start from $25 per month for two 30-minute lessons a week. The price increases with more or longer lessons. See all Quran class prices.
Frequently asked questions
What age can my child start?
Most children start once they can sit for a short lesson and follow the teacher. In the free trial the teacher assesses your child and suggests the right starting point.
Are the teachers qualified?
Yes. Our male and female teachers hold an Ijazah (a certification in Quran recitation with a chain of transmission).
What if the teacher is not the right fit?
Your first 30-minute trial is free. If the teacher does not suit your child, the second trial with another teacher is also free.
